Local Color

While her children are in school, Arlington artist Anne Lewis tours the DC area, dog Seamus in tow, photographing iconic places and hidden gems. Once home, she refers to these images as she recreates scenes in oils. "Art has always been part of my existence, whether creating junk sculptures as a kid in St. Louis or working as an art therapist with medically fragile children, as I do now."

Twelve of Anne's richly colored paintings have been adapted as 11" x 14" calendar sheets, printed using offset lithography. A lovely souvenir for a guest, or accent for your own home at just $29.00.

(Will fit in any 11" x 14" size frame or lucite signholder, available in most craft, office, or frame shops.)
