No More Torn Toast


A French butter keeper solves that little morning annoyance by allowing you to safely store fresh butter at room temperature. The lid is shaped like an inverted cup: fill the cavity with slightly softened butter then place it on top of the base, which is filled with cool water. The water keeps air out; just replace the water daily. Soft, spreadable butter is one of life's simple luxuries.
